White Maschine Mk2 not white?

Erm..im getting the distinct impression that the white maschine isnt all white? it seems to have a silver overlay..that sucks..is it removeable? if not i hope someone does a custom white overlay soon..
Kinda mis selling it to say its white if it isnt..its not like the black one isnt black..
Anyone actually own one can confirm this before i buy one plz?

 

It is white with a silver overlay similar to the silver on a Macintosh. It actually looks really sharp and blends well with everything.

 

It's meant to look really nice in the flesh.
But you are right ... they call it the White version, but it's not all white, just the body, not the faceplate.

I assume they'll come up with a white faceplate to grab £55 extra from the people who want an all-white version.

 

Balls..i was hoping this wasnt the case..dont like the silver..i just want plain white dammit!

i think the white one looks cool if it was a white itd look a bit bland im glad theyve added the silver to add contast to the design

 

C/S... I think it looks good with the silver... if it was all white it would look kinda dull.

I also think the all black one looks kinda bland... the white/silver looks way better to me.

 

White and silver is slick

I have a white MK2 and it looks really, really sharp. The silver face plate looks a lot better than I even anticipated. I think it looks better than any of the pricey color kits. I had planned on getting the black model and changed my mind as I was about to check out. Not disappointed!

I was about to drop ££..but then the Ableton Push was announced!
Ill stick with Mk1 and get Push in addition

 

well i love the white on silver on my desk, it doesn't click in your mind that it is great when you are looking online at pics and vidz, hell I almost wished I had gotten black...until the day I unboxed it. The silver makes this thing look very sophisticated!

...plus the silver is much cooler looking because it kinda diffuses the colors and lights the room up a little bit more than a plain black Maschine, maybe you don't care, but a brighter glow coming up at you looks better in a live situation as well.

 

+1 . Just got mine yesterday and it's beautiful . I was a little surprised by the silver cause I thought it was going to be white and was also originally planning on getting the grey custom kit for it anyways but I'm sticking w/ it . I already have the maple wood sides for it and it's looking very crisp .
