    Hi Guys!
I got an Audio Kontrol probably about a year ago - I love it!
...but I do have a recurring problem, and I'm asking more out of curiosity about a strange workaround than anything else.
Every so often, my Audio Kontrol will start outputting loud, constant, white noise. This often happens when my MAC is asleep, but I don't think exclusively. Disconnecting/reconnecting the interface solves the problem.

Strangely, another way to solve the problem is to _turn on the lights_! Yes. When I'm in the other room and start hearing the noise, simply turning on the lights in the room causes a POP (interference) and the noise stops. That's strange. I would guess that the interference helps the sync circuit get back in line, maybe?

Anyway, I was just curious about this. Anyone out there have any ideas?

Weird, but doesn't surprise me. I use AK1 and it has a great sound but too many problems. If windows goes to sleep and you re-awaken it, AK1 needs to be unplugged and plugged back in to work. Latency for me under Win 64 is a joke. And the popping sounds... don't get me started. I've done all the recommended solutions, some work some don't. Awful product. Looking for a replacement but haven't decided on what to get yet.
