White performance button on track load?

Hi folks,

When i load up a new track, the top left performance button is lit white.

If i press shift + this button, the white button turns off.

When i do that, what am i turning off?

And how do i get it to turn white again?

In the Traktor app, there's a downward pointing white marker that also disappears.

Hey, that's because when Traktor analyzes that track, it stores the Beatmarker as a hotcue, which in fact is hotcue 1. This hotcues is the AutoGrid, and that's a Grid hotcue type. For that reason, the first pad is white, because hotcue 1 is a grid, which have associated the white color.
When you shift press it, you are deleting the Autogrid, as it is a hotcue, and you are deleting the hotcue.
In traktor options, if you go to analize Options, you can check or uncheck whether if you want Traktor to store theBeatmarker as a hotcue or not, in case that you have the option that tells traktor to set the Beatgrid when detecting the bpm.
