Get the product right first. Survey about the website pffft.

    I'm probably banned now!

Yeah I have no use for Guitar Rig anymore now that the Axe FX Ultra is on its way.

And I suggest you guys grab one too and stop wasting your time.

It will be light years before Guitar Rig sounds like a real amp - especially considering the fact that that there is virtually no significant sound quality change from GR1 to GR4.

The only reason i am on the forums again is because with the net Mouth Effects vocode, you cannot define your own user scale harmonies. I guess I have to buy an eventide or something.... OH wait! The Axe FX has all this! Yay!

well, sounding like a real amp is very subjective. the tones i've been able to pull out of GR do sound like real amps. i think it's about how much tone surgery can one do with GR to make it sound good. and most importantly, how it sounds in the mix.

at one point in time i did want to get an axe fx, but then i realized that i'm gonna need a lot more equipment like monitors, a foot controller, a better sound card, so i dropped the idea. all together it was getting too expensive.

i still get great results with GR, so i have no qualm about it. have fun with the AFx. :)
