Why Can't I Authorize B4 II???

OK, B4 II just came today as a free update to my Komplete 3/Komplete Kare 2006 package. I installed it, and then tried to authorize it on line. Unfortunately, when I get to the NI website, I get this message:

"Update Not Authorized
In order to authorize this upgrade/update version, you must first register the product you would like to upgrade/update from."

What???

I didn't authorize the plug-ins in my Komplete 3 bundle individually. Why is this registration tool not working?

I'm sorry, but installing and updating all the stuff in my Komplete bundle is a continual, vexing challenge. Why do they have to make things so complicated and time consuming? Why doesn't it work correctly? I'm wasting too much of my life hassling with this stuff.

FWIW, my Guitar Rig 2 update also came today, and that authorized correctly.

To make matters worse, I can no longer tell if a given NI problem is just a matter of the NI website being on the fritz. Again.

I was somewhat excited about purchasing KORE, but frankly, with all the problems I've been having with NI as of late. I may pass on it.
