Hi, there seems to be a bug(or mabe the developers forgot that Wav files are just as important as the NKI files) where as you can't select next instrument with Wav files. In order for me to load a new Wav file, I would have to go back to my browser and drag and drop the Wav file. This process extremely hinders my work flow. When I have NKI instruments loaded, I am able to select next instrument(tab) but it will not work on Wav files.

Why is that? It definitely needs to be changed so that I am able to freely quickly browse through my samples without having to drag and drop everything.

[EDIT:] As a matter of fact, Kontakt won't even let you select between Soundfonts and AKAI instruments as well as Wav. Samples. The only way to load them is to literally drag and drop, which is very inconvenient(Slows down my work flow)

So I'm guessing that you can't select next with other formats as well. You can only select next with only NKI instruments.

Something definitely needs to be changed so that when I have other formats loaded in the same folder I am able to switch between them

That's true. That's just the way it is designed at the current time.

Kontakt really only loads NKI files. Other formats, like WAV and SF, are converted to NKI upon opening. The < and > buttons only serve to navigate to adjacent NKI files.

You could use the Batch Import feature to convert an entire library to NKI, then you'll be able to use < and > to scroll through them.

Not sure if you can batch import WAV's. That's a good feature request.

Thanks for your reply. I really try to get the most out of a product, so this is why I ask so many questions.

I just feel that if a format(Such as soundfonts) are in the same folder then you should be able to use the < and > buttons to select between those sounds

Use the mapping editor to select the next wav file. More or less the same.
