why do i always need to locate user samples when i reboot

i have sample packs that or on a separate drive not c drive the are all maschine groups kits and all ways load but when i reboot most of them have to be re located can anybody help

 

Goto / maschine preferences/ library/user /add (link the path where your samples are stored)/ rescan

 

done that and its still the same but it not always going to the default dir on c i have three external drives connected to an i7 laptop and its always the same sample packs

 

for now until you can work out why
Try saving the project with samples, that will save them to the project folder with the project

 

i'm doing that too but its so infuriating that every time i reboot i have to load my library every time
