Why do the Cdj-2000 stop working sometimes when connected in HID mode with Traktor 2?

The last two nights, while djing at a local bar,the cdj 2000 stopped working whilst connected to my macbook pro and traktor 2.
Specifically,I was using the soundcard from the Djm-900 mixer and had connected the Cdj-2000 using them in advanced HID mode, when suddenly Traktor and the cdj's froze while the audio was still playing.
Turned off the cdj's and Traktor continued working fine, but when I them turned back on could not link them to Traktor. They did not give me the option to select deck or anything.
I would be extremly greatful if you could help me,because I'll be djing there regularly and I neex to fix this issue.
Note that everything is up to date,I am using a Macbook Pro and was using a usb hub with no external power.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Thanks for your input JuliaO,but if I had used the CDJ-2000 as my sound card ,the audio would have been interrupted when they froze.
As I said, all the equipment and software is up to date.
I haven't tried installing the CDJ-2000 with the setup wizard,so I'll give that a shot and see how it goes.

    Thanks again!

First, keep using the audio in the DJM900NXS, it has proven to have better quality converters than the first CDJ2000's and IMO still slightly better audio than the CDJ2000NXS. It also allows you to use all 4 decks in Traktor on their own channels, and record back into Traktor easily. It is also very easy to use a pair of CDJ's to control all 4 Traktor decks via HID, you can change which deck is being controlled by holding down the track selection knob for about 5 seconds. I also find the whole aggregate devise thing a bit hit and miss, and although not noticeable to most, it adds extra latency and another thing that can go wrong.

Firmware, yes, I always carry a USB stick with the latest firmware for both CDJ2000 & NXS versions. On this same USB stick drop some music to get you through should any issues arise, or give you a few minutes to setup if changing over from another DJ using HID/DVS setup.

If things are acting funny, go into Controller Manager and make sure that the correct CDJ's are set in the midi in and out ports. Worst case, remove all CDJ's from Controller Manager with them not plugged in via USB, then plug them in one at a time and Traktor will automatically add them back into Controller Manager. No need for and extra setup wizards.
