I just think the damn Maschine is fun. Lots of fun. It's very deep if you really learn all it can do. What it can't do, can be done with outboard gear, synths, Pro Tools, and other utilities. Part of the challenge of electronic music is fighting with hardware and software and making it all work together. If it was easy, it wouldn't be half the fun.

Well I think is quite the opposite....the more you use it and deep into it the more you find its weaknesses.....I was very excited of how things were going from 1.0 to 1.8.2 but since the paid update 2.0 I'm quite disappointed
About if I will continue buying N.I. products,i hope they come with something great this year, being a loyal customer since Generator I've owned almost all the products they came up with during all these years so I still have some faith....that being said I don't like the direction they took in the last years which seems more towards bedroom producers and Djs which is ok but feels like long time customers are a bit forgotten(reaktor blocks have been very nice I must say).Discontinuation of kore was something I didn't like at all after so much much time invested into it,not forgetting money in sound packs etc...

Maschine Studio, Traktor Z2, Traktor S8 are not for bedroom DJ's and producers.

Seems like users posting in the beat battles and music competitions are not having issues.

"You're" not "your". There's also two other grammatical mistakes.
    And don't be silly...

...oh no - I for one have a bag full of issues regarding Maschine. But together with the help of some other forum members I was able to solve some. So, since I have decided to using Maschine, I'm trying to get around these issues and not to let them stop me. Sometimes I find a better way, sometimes not. I guess, this is the same for the other participants. If anyone is interested in checking out the entries (which would be much appreciated - I guess by all participants) - you can find the thread here:

kind of embarrassing that the all the features that users have been requesting in Maschine from NI over the past 5 years; are now in v 2.0 of the MPC software, such as real-time time-stretching, real-time audio warping and audio tracks.

How is it possible that that NI with such a clear lead has been beaten to the punch on every count? while dishing out such poor empty updates with no worthwhile meaty features?

Also note that Akai are showing users a heads up of what they have been working on; and what the content of the new version will hold (good to keep customers informed so they can decide if they wish to stay on-board)

This is something that NI have consistently failed to do, there is no reason why they cannot make a video highlighting some of the upcoming features they have been working.

NI ought to be ashamed of their output for the past 2 years in comparison to the updates and strides made with the Akai feature-set; its almost as if Akai have been reading the feature requests on this board and acting on it before NI

Meanwhile they continue with the bells and whistles approach; and eco-system updates, smh

very poor all around for NI
