Why Doesn't Expansion Maschine Content Come Mapped for Kontakt?

I just upgraded to Komplete Collector's Edition and found that I didn't necessarily *need* all the extra Expansion content, as it is largely geared toward users of Maschine, of which I am not a user. However, browsing through, I see many sounds and loops that would be useful for me in Kontakt. (Not quite sure how to get loops to play in Battery either, but that's a secondary concern.) I've created a few Kontakt instruments so far with a small percentage of the content, but that seems like it will ultimately be a very time-consuming endeavor.

So my question is: Is there a specific reason the Expansion content doesn't include Kontakt files? Or am I missing something?

Thanks in advance for any light anyone might be able to shed on this issue!

They're Maschine expansions, not Kontakt expansions. However you can of course use the raw samples however you see fit...

Yes, I understand that, as explained in my original post.

My question is why aren't Kontakt files included with these expansions? They are, after all, sold together in Komplete with a large number of Kontakt instruments.

Certainly the sounds themselves don't care which particular engine is used to trigger them.

Unless there is a compelling reason that Kontakt versions are not provided, then including them would constitute added user value.

I suppose that was not the intent behind those expansions.

Kontakt files are not included because they don’t exist. Not much more to be said.

Many of the synth sounds will be patches for one of NI's synths, Monark, Massive or Prism, while most of the drums/percussion will also be Battery kits, so you can use Battery if you want to. I don't know if Kontakt can still load Battery kits (used to back in the days of Battery 2 from memory)

There will be some settings for Massive's built in drum synth that you have to use Massive for however

Yet they easily *could* exist. I'm trying to understand why they don't. Including Kontakt files might make the Expansions more attractive to Kontakt users?

I would ask NI directly then, because it appears no one here in the "User" forum has a satisfactory answer for you.

I assumed they would receive the message based on the sub-header of the forum:

well I guess if you are patient enough you may get a reply, but to tell you the truth, I have never seen a reply to any feature request posted here by the "Product Development Team"...

    I see.
Maybe if I wish real hard, one day they'll magically appear.:)
