Wow NI - two weeks and no response? Seriously?

This gets you things like the following:

Me playing for 5,000 people this past Saturday at the Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange with a big Serato SL4 box poking out the console for everyone to see...

I would have thought by now at least a mod would have gotten onto someone who can help, that or if NI monitor the forums they would have spotted this.

Fair enough-but to be honest they should be answering their direct emails from customers themselves.

Well i have no doubt that if he is a sponsored artist Jamie Jones has a personal Product Adviser.

He also does not state what the problem was but does say "when you set it up properly" which hints at the possibility that he or his tech crew hadn't set Traktor or his laptop up properly.

As ive said, I have escalated your issue again and I have linked this this thread to the email so that Support can read it.

this is funny , being a sponsored artist and don't know how to setup traktor but has a personal adviser is sad :( IMO.

people get beat down on here for this same thing (installing new software or new hardware) and not testing.
being as big as he is guess he would of known that or his personal adviser would of told him not to do it with out testing.
oh, didn't matter he was playing for young turks.
and have the nerves to to say look pass the glitches that was out of his control, joke  , for he not testing his new laptop out.
IMO it seem to me he was thinking traktor was plug and play.

If all the guys @ ni is our (paying customers) homies (guessing he can just call up anyone and get help, maybe that's why they can't help the rest, to much sponsored artist don't know what they doing) we all would be saying the same thing trakor is the best.

I don't actually know what your point is but the fact is that most Sponsored Artists get assistance from a Product Specialist, would you find that surprising..?

Most big name DJs have a tech specialist or crew. Is this news to you..?

No-one has been "beat down" in this thread so that claim is outrageous.

If Jamie Jones came on the forum and he had not set his Traktor up properly I would tell him the same as any other member. I don't care how famous someone is but do you really expect big name DJs to use a product and not get personal support..? Naive.

Ok, I have posted a number of times that I am personally trying to help this user.
Members are requested not to enflame this thread as it does not help the user.

Thank you for your help the issue has now been resolved.

FYI I was simply told that I could now activate using my same serial number, and it worked this time, so obviously something was wonky on NI's end.

first off never said you wasn't trying to help him.
as I said it's funny when big name djs with tech specialist or crew say they took a new laptop and didn't set it up before a gig is amusing to me.
it been said many times test before you go live with your setup on this forum.
again it's funny that with all that support it wasn't setup right  .
would you take a new laptop to a gig without testing ?

I think ni screwed themselves with that mk2 video as far as tech support goes lol.. Ive always gotten super fast responses from them but ever since the whole mk2 timecode video came out, its obvious they were just bombarded with the same ticket over and over about compatibility. Even tho it was pretty clear as to what was compatible woth what. Cant imagine how many tix they got on mk2. They r usually pretty fast at responding.
