Why I prefer the F1 for stems?

So far I have used the S8 and F1 for stems and the workflow is much easier on the F1.
The main thing I have noticed is that the screens are useless to me on the S8, sure the waveforms are there but the bright bouncing colors on the F1 are much more feedback.
For instance if I see that my kick is jumping on the F1 it is a much better reminder than just a fader and stacked waveforms on the S8. The main view of the track is just fine to see where I am at, I almost wish there wasn't stacked waveforms and just a normal view.

The mute buttons on the F1 are very useful for getting filters or faders right, and also when starting a track, the only way on the S8 is the fader.
The quick use of shift and the fx toggle is also better workflow then the S8.
The filters have middle stops and are definite, rather than the endless encoders of the S8.

The S8 or any controller is needed for the usual functions of mixing. And also is nice for the freeze mode, and looping.

It's funny the S8 has screens yet I feel more visual feedback and more conscious of what is happening using the F1.

On the s8 you can see what is coming up on the screens though like 8 beats aheadgoves you a good indication when basslines drop or vocals come in

Yep but the F1 is a better overall workflow for me, the basic waveform is easy to read, transients for kick is obvious and if I have played the track even once I know it enough, if I need a better drop or start, just add a cuepoint!
What would be nice is the pads color feedback option on the s8
