Hi thanks for the advice. I think at this point I just want to remove everything and start from scratch.

So my question is how do I easily remove everything so I can start with a clean slate? I just want to make sure so i'm deleting everything safely of my computer.

Depends on what else you got on your computer, I mean you could reformat your hd and install a fresh os and start from scratch
Or delete all the ni stuff , don’t know how old this is

Uninstalling will be annoying but better to deal with it now than later, assuming you dont have many projects.
You can leave your Libraries on your external HD tho, to avoid redownloading them all.

Oh... Make sure to define your folders properly in Native Access before you reinstall things.

Yeah drag the shared folder to the external if it’s not already there
After you get rid of everything else and reinstall native access remember to set the location paths for the shared folder in native access preferences before you install anything else , I’d probably restart native access before I started to reinstall anything too

btw should I reinstall Mashine and it's sounds library last or does it even matter really?

Mashine still can't load Massive, FM8, etc ...

    This is ridiculous.

I don't know what's going on. I did everything I was supposed to do with a clean slate and I'm still getting errors. All my stuff looks ok as you can see in the attachments.

I'm also a bit confused isn't my content supposed to go to my external HD? I right clicked on a massive sound to see where is was located and it shows it's on the HD as seen in the attachment. I thought all the content was going to go to my external HD not my computers?

Also when I see native access content paths it says volumes, then the rest of the location? I don't understand that either.

No vst presets for massive fm8 etc stay on your main drive where they are
Only stuff that goes on the external is the shared folder which contains samples and audio files for the maschine library, kontakt libraries, reaktor libraries and maschine expansions
The native access path is ok because you set that
I’ll tag D-One to see if he can help , you might have to contact support

Try opening massive, fm8 etc outside of maschine , there’s a folder in applications for native instruments with the individual software in

Did you disable the installation of the VST plug-ins versions somehow?
Would you be comfortable giving official support remote access to your computer? Considering the amount of time you already spent trying to fix it yourself it might be a better option.

Yeah at this point I don't know what to do other than to have someone else take control and see what the issue is. I can't be wasting anymore time running in circles sadly.

I don't think I disabled the VST versions of the plugins, because I didn't touch anything after reinstalling everything.

It looks like everything is ok
It does look like you only installed the au version of the plugins
Only thing I can think of is the plugin location in this image
Try rescanning or double click on that path and set it to
The plugin folder one folder back from the components folder
    Hd library /audio/plugins then rescan
