Why is traktor pro erasing my iTunes Covers?

Should there be a reason why some of my itunes covers disappear when import them in traktor? I analyze them and then organize them in subfolders (within the application). No other application messes about with my itunes collection and this is the first time in years covers randomly disappear, mostly in older adds. I can't be 100% certain it is traktor, but the disappearance of the covers coincides with the importing date to traktor, furthermore traktor does not even recognize most of the covers i have in itunes.

This is a rather annoying problem since like having every single cover in 80 gig collection and it is an annoyance getting them back whenever traktor feels compelled to erase them. Is anybody else experiencing this problem? :S

Yes . my mate had this exact problem. His solution which has totally worked (dunno about you) is to go into iTunes and update ALL his tracks to the latest iD3 Tag Version V2.4 . Even an updated iTunes does not update the Tag version.

Try a small selection to see if it works. It totally worked for him.
Also he ran Dougs Script to embed the artwork.

Quite a few peeps having this problem.

I advised a user to do this yesterday and it seems to have worked.

I Only ran the script to embed the artwork, and did not updated my iD3 tags.(when I tried updating iD3 tags to v2.4 some artwork disappeared)

 

Ok that is odd. Updating Tags should not have any detrimental effect, certainly didnt with my mates.
Glad you got the script working though. I get mixed results with it.

@Bleek , maybe try just running the Script. If no joy maybe then try the Tags.

Actually that makes a of sense why some of the artwork was disappearing on older music, which probably did not have the latest tags. Thank you both for the tip, much appreciated!

try this www.tuneupmedia.com it works for me. I scan with this plugin and I got most of the cover art.

 

finally the script failed on me,I tested it with some tracks and all
went smooth,untill I analyzed my whole collection, then again tracks
disappeared in iTunes.
I tested Tune-Instructor(German),and that finally gave the result that i want.I used the program only to embed my artwork.
