Why isn't Aftertouch.

I don't believe this! So you're saying that Maschine (the software) doesn't receive aftertouch??? This is really preposterous!
I've seen this thread last week, before I bought the Maschine Studio, but I thought you're saying that Maschine (the hardware) doesn't transmit or receive aftertouch (like when you connect a keyboard to its MIDI input). After I got the Maschine Studio, I loaded Massive, I assign aftertouch to some parameters, and I tried to control them with aftertouch from my Studiologic Acuna 88 (connected to my laptop's USB port) but nothing happened. I thought I somehow disabled or filtered out the aftertouch inside the Maschine but I couldn't find anything (and the manual doesn't mention aftertouch at all!). Then I remembered this thread.
So how is this even possible?? A pretty capable DAW, at version 2.4(!), that doesn't support aftertouch? That's really insane! I'm shocked.

 

Answer in 2018 perhaps.
(ps Maschine is not a DAW but really should support aftertouch in the sequencer, and if you are shocked prepare yourself for more).
