Reaktor window in a DAW doesn't show full synth, I have to bloody scroll around to see/adjust the parameters of the synth loaded. Why can't I just see the whole thing? God that's annoying, Maschine plugin too, everything is scrunched together in a set sized window. At the very least I should be able to resize Reaktor window.

It's true..the scrolling thingie is very annoing.
But it has always been like that..I deal with it since the times of Reaktor 3.
So..it has nothing to do with the latest update or something .
The work around is to use full screen in standalone, you have the entire view then.
As a plug I'm afraid one has to live with it.
Until N.I finally fix the prob.
I's been there since I bought reaktor 3..10 years ago.

There is a big bug in every software, known as "the unread manual". ;)

Simple check the preferences and view-settings.

    cheers

And even if something was there..N.I managed to hide it for 10 years.
    Cheers.

Auto Optimize only goes as big as the "Max. Opt. Window Width" and "Max. Opt. Window Height" settings in preferences. Set that to as big as your DAW plugin will allow before resizes and Reaktor window should always refit to comfortably hug your ensemble.

    Yeah..that works.
But why all this trouble ..searching and asking to get something done is beyond me.
    Other softies are far better.
It seems N.I is just the best of the past today.
    I bought complete 8 recently..but I regret it.
It's basically the same old chit..as it always was.
One can do far better for the money..today.

Any reasonably sophisticated software I have ever used requires support. Back in the day we had to pay for it and wait on hold over long distance phone lines. Now all you have to do is ask on a free forum. Life's pretty tough, huh?

Wait, are you talking about Reaktor or breast implants?

Perhaps you should have made that decision before making a purchase. It's pretty easy to be informed, what with all the free demos, reviews, tutorials, etc. available. Anyway, the first step is to admit you made a mistake, so you're well on your way. The second step is to sell it on and buy some of this "better" software of which you speak. Not sure what that would be, but to each their own.

Reaktor is unique from other plug-ins as it's actual optimal screen size is WIDELY variable depending on the modular ensemble design itself...something the 'other softies' do not ever need to address.

The system works very well (once you are actually aware of it) and is an intelligent handling of the challenge given the variety of situations it has do deal with IMHO ;-)

For how complex reaktor is it actually has very very few preference settings, there are so few infact that you could learn them over a cup of tea.

The point i tried to make is simple.
Again..i bought reaktor more than a decade ago for serious money.
Recently..i bought it again..and Absynth..and all the rest within complete 8.
just to find the same old thing sold all over and over again.
With just little developement in all those years.
Yes..we have access to a zilion all the same downloads at the users library.
Who cares about it?...not me...not anymore.
And yes..it was my own fault to buy it all again.
    A mistake..I admid.
    ---
Fortunately I bought into Spectrasonics instruments..and what a difference it is.
One patch with it's own arpeggiator..8 patches with their own arpeggiators.
Live and Stack modes..A giant library with free updates.
    What a difference it is.

maybe it would help if you could actually spell the NI products you have bought!

there has been an enormous development with Reaktor and Komplete in the last few years, as is explained in the manuals, which maybe you should read.

have fun with Spectrasonics, and goodbye.

calling someone a troll is easy.
coming up with some valid argument is not that easy..right?
i told you truth...n.i in synth land is history.
selling the same old thing all over again for a decade.
just take a look about what other vendors have to offer.
    then think again.
i'm not even talking about my maschine investment.
    now..it's not worth anything anymore.
thanks to n.i. practically giving it away.
i will never buy anything n.i anymore.
and i have good and valid reasons for it.
    period.

    ....
    nobody cares.
seriously, i've never seen anybody so upset over their own inability to properly read a manual.

    go complain someplace else.
