    direct wire.GIF

a driver routing option should be easy to programm - like my good old and cheap maya 44 had and it looked like this above.
But think other software features should be made first

Wasn“t able to sample directly from iPhone 6 via audio out (3mm) into MK3 line in after unboxing the MK3.
I‘ve heard something about „low power“ output on iPhones line out which will be normalized in an external audio device.
    Not sure if it‘s true.

Is anyone able to sample directly from iPhone (audio out) into MK3s interface???
    No problem with mic.

Have you tried other sources over line in? And are you sure that everything is set correctly in preferences and in sampler the right ins?

There i have to dissagree it's a 2 ins interface but it has 3 in plugs so they have to manage it in some way. They could also build in a line/mic switch, with my 2 input interface I have to unplug mic and plug in line cables if I want to change it and with maschine you can leave line cables and only have to unplug mic to switch it. Ok a more input interface would be also an option for maschine but that's an other discussion I see it more like an cool extra feature for fast jamming on the road then a proper interface and for that purpose I think it's great even if wouldn't need it myself.

I don't think you are really in a position to decide what the point of a product that Native Instruments released is, especially when you say the point contradicts the product itself. You might try making your suggestion in a more proactive manner. I'm pretty sure Traktor has a loopback type features so you could always use that. If NI had all of the same features on all products, those products would lose some of the simplicity that makes them inspiring to use.

I must say that I also think it's pretty ridiculous. At the very least, I would have expected to be able to use the mic input and line input 2 at the same time. Using a single mic channel shouldn't knock out two line inputs.

Yes @Mr36 you're right it shouldn't switch off both line ins.

And maybe I'm remembering incorrectly, but I swear that one of the setup examples on the Mk3 specs page used to be a mic and a guitar, but now there's only a set up with mic only and another with two (presumably) mono-synths. Hmmmm...

Another alternative other than soundflower for mac users is a software called "Loopback". It's created by the same team who built soundflower, it's more maintained and does a lot of other funky stuff. https://rogueamoeba.com/loopback/.

LoopBack is amazing, its by far the best solution for mac... but it's expensive as hell... 100$

Might as well buy yourself a decent audio interface with that money..
