Why won't the Kore controller remember the performance name?

Ok, so I've gotten the Kore controller to recognize the performance name by saving the performance, and then entering one of the instances and then coming back to the instance list on the hardware (It doesn't update the Kore screen when you save a performance, you have to change menus and go back first).

But then if I close my project and open it again in Ableton Live, the instances are all back to being called performance 1, performance 2 etc. This is no good. Why doesn't it remember the names?

I'm using the Kore 1 controller. Are people seeing this with other controllers?
