Will Kore 1 controller every work properly again with Kore 2?

These used to work perfectly together before the 2.1 update last year. Now when I try to use it and tweak a knob on the controller, the parameters jump randomly or don't follow the knob properly and the selection ring still jumps around.

I have the Kore 2 controller as well and it works fine, but I've tried the Kore 1 controller which I keep at the studio and it's useless. I've been wanting to sell it but I can't in good conscience if it's this messed up. But it only started since the 2.1 update so I don't think it's a hardware thing.

Am I the only one that find the old controller now impossible to use?

 

Are you sure it's a compatibility issue? And that really IS a question (rather than an implied criticism). I have the same problem. I've tried the controller on 2 different comps and 2 different versions of Kore 2 (though I may not have gone back to pre-2.1). I thought it was a sign of early-onset senility in my Kore hardware. Any comments/solutions (ESPECIALLY solutions) would be very greatfully received.

 

I'm not sure of the reasons. But I do know it was fine before the 2.1 update and it's buggered ever since.

 

I'm thinking it's a combination of controller noise and the NIHardwareService (the app that does translation of host automation to CCs). I'm wondering if a software switch in the controller editor allowing you to deselect the Kore controller as far as being processed by it would work...
