    Greetings.

Would any of you NI experts be able to advise me.I want to purchase the up coming Garritan Jazz and Big Band Library but my machine is below spec on the recommendation.
I have an apple mac G4 Tibook iGhz processor and 1 gig or ram and and am happy using Garritan Personal Orchestra by loading a small sounset and rendering the audio as I go.

Doeas anybody know If I will be able to open the Kontakt Player for jazz library (in pro tools LE) and work on a couple of instruments at a time and print the audio.

Many thanks for reading this and any help you can offer.

    cheers

The spec for Apple Mac is as follows
"Mac OS X or higher, G4 1.5 MHz is minimum but may not yiled the best result. To get full functionality of all the programming a G5 is recommended. The Kontakt audio engine is designed to make use of the processing power of your computer's CPU. The powerful and complex algorithms of the Kontakt Player work best on modern and fast CPUs. Please also observe the systems requirements of your host application."

Both Kontakts from GPO and JABB seem to be identical,
and the CPU load on my PC is about the same for both,
so the chances that you can use JABB the same way as GPO
    are good.
But I don't use an Apple, so things might be different for you.

    Good luck.
