Will owners of S keyboards get a free update to K12 Select?

This is what it says for Komplete Select in the product comparison for the Komplete suites:

"Full version price 199,00 € / free for registered owners of KOMPLETE KONTROL S-Series keyboards and selected MASCHINE hardware"

So what does this actually mean for those of us who have an S-series keyboard which was registered before October 1, 2018? I see no way to "upgrade" my K11 Select to K12 Select.

(I also own K11 but would love to get the new Select stuff - 3 expansion packs and Ethereal Earth in Kontakt 6)

 

I would like to know this as well, as an owner of a S49 w K11 Select & a separate K11 full version...

An email from NI to me: "And as an owner of KOMPLETE AUDIO 6, you’re eligible for special upgrade pricing on KOMPLETE 12 SELECT." $99.00.
No mention of my S-Series keyboard.

 

To answer my own post, "yes". Owners of S keyboards now get Komplete Select 12 and Maschine Essentials at no extra cost. That was a nice surprise.

 

Great, it's very good news for me who also has S keyboards, thank you for sharing information.

How did you find out ? How do you get it added to your account?

 

I got an email from NI. I do wonder if I am a bringer of false news here...maybe this was just given to customers who recently registered their stuff.

The email said:
"You recently registered NI hardware that includes KOMPLETE 11 SELECT. To say thanks, we want to help kick off your new musical journey with a free update to the recently released KOMPLETE 12 SELECT, along with MASCHINE Essentials. No need to do anything – It’s all in your Native Instruments account. Just sign into Native Access to discover SCARBEE RICKENBACKER BASS, PHASIS, ETHEREAL EARTH, three Expansions sound packs, and MASCHINE Essentials."

Everything was suddenly ready in my account.

 

Ok , it probably is that you recently registered, I’ve not heard nothing , but I got my kkmk2 when it was first released .
