New Windows 11 - High CPU usage when launching Traktor

Hi, few seconds after Traktor's launch, a Windows process is causing high CPU usage.

 

Currently, Native Instruments software and hardware products are not supported on Windows 11.

Update: It seems that disabling the built in sound card (Realtek) from within Windows Device manager is enough to fix the issue.

Update 2 : The problem occurs because Traktor is trying to access the built in microphone, disabling the access to desktop apps is resolving the issue.

Thank you so much for bringing that to our attention ! I'm gonna investigate that a bit further as I wasn't able to reproduce this CPU peak on my own machine so far.
Were you able to observe this behaviour on Windows 10 or is it a new behaviour for you ?

This is a new behavior, i've never experienced something similar in the past.

Some more investigation on this.


It seems that the problem occurs when the built-in soundcard has been set to run at 48000khz and Traktor has been set to use the built-in soundcard in shared mode.





When the built-in soundcard is configured to run at 44100khz the problem doesn't occur.





When the built-in soundcard is configured to run at 192000khz the problem doesn't occur also but the CPU usage is a bit abnormal and the latency is huge.
