Windows Explorer folder structure

I have my music library of over 8000 songs organized in the windows explorer using folders and subfolders. Question is: how can I keep the same folder structure after adding the library to Traktor? It looks like the Track Collection in Traktor sorts all songs by artists, releases, labels and genres, but this is not the way I’d like to browse. I understand I can just drag and drop files to the decks directly from the explorer, but that disables editing, eliminates comments, etc.

 

Hi there, I think the easiest thing to do is just to use the explorer tree within Traktor to play the files from your folders. Since comments etc are all stored within the MP3 itself you should get everything you want that way.

 

But... if I want to add a comment to a file, I cannot do it in the explorer tree, only in the track collection. So every time I'd like to add a comment, I'd have to search for the file in the track collection.
