Hey there, why not in this one, you make a wishlist for future "things" to add in Guitar Rig Updates.

    TAPEDECK

1.- PAN KNOB, transpose, tune and tempo are just great, but would be nice to haVe a PAN knob, I mean that because usually some arrangementes in the songs are Panned (left or right), so when we´re practicing we can FOCUS on that specific panned arrangement more easily.

2.- BROWSER... like many other programs, would be nice to have in the TAPEDECK a "remembering menu" for last tracks opened. Sometimes I spent a while trying to open one track I recently opened just because Guitar Rig has not that function and I have a bunch of folders where I have that music stored.

    Feedbacker!

Also, although the SplitA/B component is useful, it would be great to have a more flexible and versatile routing/wiring system. Brilliant as GR3 is, it has a very linear feel to it.

+1 for a better split component. perhaps if it expanded horizontally to allow side by side racks, thus using desktop space more efficiently

I also still want digitech amp/cab warping. there's so much I want to do with that.

I don't see how the split module would be changed. Are you just talking about a difference in the GUI or does someone have an idea of how one could parallel process differently?

also how does the Cab morphing differ from panning between to cabs?

my ideas for a new split are as follows:
toggle pre/post button (either both racks are active and the input is panned, or the output of both racks are panned as it is now)
for horizontal splitting I've attached a crude picture of how I played it out in my mind. multiple splits can get complex when they expand horizontally, especially splits withing splits. I think it will work best if every main split in series expanded horizontally, and splits within splits expanded vertically.
Also, for viewing ease it would be nice if the split illuminated the active components.
horizontally, it just feels like it uses my desktop space more efficiently, and panning is more intuitive that way.

oh, and morphing/warping doesn't change the relative volumes of the components. I don't know what it does computationally, but it combines the algorithms of the amps/cabs somehow to create a hybrid. of course, digitech has simpler algorithms, so I propose it as a challenge to NI.
