It's almost Christmas so here is my wishlist for Absynth 5 or 4.5 or whatever big update will come next:

    Post processsing section with:
*4 band Multiband Compressor/Expander (up and downwards)
    *Limiter
*Parametric Equalizer 4 or more bands

    Sampling section:
    *Possibility to import mapped multisamples
*More advanced looping section with loop crossfading and repetition of loop segments (like e.g. Kontakt has)
    *Possibility of reversing samples

    Envelopes
*Possibility of applying shuffled feel to existing Step envelopes

And a second effects Unit with something like Reaktors Space Master and a convolution reverb in which own IRs can be loaded.

Please Santa Claus read this wishlist...

    Good list.
I especially vote for the multisample capability.

Yep, +1 for the Sampling Section,
(and what about support for sfz-mappings ?)
and a Convolution Module would also be really nice
    for even more wicked sound-design.
    Just my 2 cent

    Cheers

After exploring Camel Audio's Alchemy I really wish that Absynth will pick uo the spectral and additive resynthesis. The results you get with these functions twisting samples around are just so incredible and unheard of, amazing!

More levels of undo, the ability to see the output wave at any juncture of the signal path

Additive resynthesis you can already do (and have been able to do since v1 of Absynth)- the import from audio file command under transform in the wave window.

More sophisticated surround functionality please ability to place any sound element anywhere in the field. Perhaps more options than spinning the sound - bouncing from left to right and so forth. Ability to silience the middle speaker (which I reserve for vocals). Nice product though I really admire it.

Yes, but the resulting waves are tiny, I mean importing e.g. a 2 minute wav file using additive or spectral resynthesis and then changing it's overtones/sinewaves to create unheard sounds. The import from Audio in Absynth results in very short waves sounding very unfirendly and mechanical.
