WMA files

Can anyone help me?, I'm going through my music files and editing the ID3 tags for every song, I've only been using TS for a few weeks and haven't actually used it to play out yet.
I've come across a bit of a problem though, 90% of my library are MP3's but i have a few WMA tracks that i purchased from some download site can't remember which.

For some reason every WMA track in my library won't analyse and wont load, I get that annoying flashing red bar at the bottom of traktor screen saying song cant load missing file or corupt something along those lines anyway, I'm sure you've all seen it, I thought Traktor supported WMA files? the tracks are fine and do not have any problems although they might be DRM protected, does this matter? my old DJ software played these no problem.

I do believe DRM protected files can be problematic, I always convert to mp3 to save myself this hassle. Are you on a Mac or PC? If on a Mac you need to have Windows Media Player installed on the computer.

I'm using a PC with XP sp3, How do i convert into MP3? is there any free software to do this?

 

Oh geez, I'm sure there is but I've gone and lost all my Windows audio savvy. I use Switch in OSX but sadly I can't recommend a FREE Windows app...I used to use Sony Soundforge to do this stuff but the license went with the laptop which I gave to my fiancee.

If you can get it to load in Audacity, you can easily export it to an MP3.
