alas, each time i try to load kittenGatter, mfm, or Instrument1 into reaktor (4.0.3.005), it not only crashes reaktor, it takes out the entire computer, forcing me to reboot from scratch. i've never had this problem before, and it doesn't occur with several of the other ensembles that have appeared over the past week in the user library, so i'm thinking there's got to be something these three ensembles have in common that make them bomb on my system: win 98, pentium iii, 512 mb ram, audigy soundcard, matrox millennium graphics card. when i load them the screen goes all weird (crazy visual pattern), so maybe that's a hint ... ?

    anyone else having similar problems?

It's all part of my evil plan to destroy PC users...

Seriousy though, have you tried version 1.1 of Instrument1? It should fix some PC bugs. Perhaps your crashing is due to ambiguous settings on selectors?

Try 1.1, and if it still dives... I donno. How fast is that processor? I can't even run Instrument1 on my dual g4 at 44100... maybe its just eating your computer?

    odd numbers?

Maybe its because you have R4.03 beta on a PIII, that those ensembles are not working? They all work on my P4 2.4Ghz R4.02. hehe, maybe those ensembles were made by square people who don't like odd numbers?

    Happy Beta Testing,
