    Hey there,

I've had NI stuff since Komplete 2 and I've never had to post in the forums until now....

....I've just bought myself a new computer and Kore and Massive. I'm waiting for my Komplete 4 Update to arrive so I can really get stuck into it...but I'm having a couple of problems.

I've followed the steps in the manual on pages 51 to 55 about how to make a Koresound. This is where the first problem arises. When I go to reload the Koresound I've just created, it only saves one instance of the Massive plugin regardless of how many I've used to create the Koresound. It also doesn't save any of the effects sends.

The second problem is that in some cases when trying to save a Koresound, the filename defaults to instrument.ksd which if you leave it as that or change it, you get the following error message: Error Saving Sound File!

I've attached pictures of this happening.

I can save them all as performances, but I'd like to be able to save the Koresounds so I can access them in Live rather than in Performance/Standalone mode.

I've also looked at the updated manuals and addendums to no avail...

My computer's specs are: Macbook Pro Core 2 Duo 2.33Ghz, 2Gb Ram, OSX 10.4.8. Both Kore and Massive are up-to-date.

Hope this gets sorted out soon...because this thing has sooo much potential.

    Peace,

    alakenio

    Welcome :)

You're getting the errors when trying to save because you're trying to save to the factory location instead of the user sound location. You CANNOT edit and resave a sound to the factory location unless you give it a new name; the factory content location's write-protected as far as editing goes.

As far as saving multiple plugins (or instances) in one sound goes, read the manual addendum for 1.1; how to do it's well explained there.

....whaddaya know...the answer was right in front of me all along...note to self...DO NOT TRY TO READ AND COMPREHEND MANUALS AFTER 10PM...

Seriously though, thanks for the tips ew - everything is sorted and Kore is rockin' on my system.

    Cheers & Beers,
