working with absynth changes samplerate in cubase sx

hi everybody

if i'm doing sound edits in absynth 1.3.4 vsti in cubase sx
and switch back to the arranger window in sx the samplerate
of my rme96/52 changes from 48khz (project preset) to 44.1khz
without any further notice.
-sound is played back at lower samplerate-.
to get back to work i have to change twice the project
samplerate in sx....?

this only happens while working with absynth...
other vsti running smoothly...

any suggestion would be appreciated.
