I have to admit I've never had such a hard time until I tried to use a blue tooth set of ear buds with a built in microphone. Everything I tried was garbled, nothing would stay in sync not to mention misreported sample rates and god knows what else from these ridiculous devices. What eventually solved the problem believe it or not was asio4all. Somehow it managed to get things right from the bluetooth headset and I managed to get the earbuds to work properly. However the microphone part of the headset is still acting retarded. I ended up using a usb microphone and it worked out well. Pretty crazy for sure. Hopefully this tip on asio4all will help someone else. What gets me is how bad the usb microphone is, it's like they didn't shield anything. A lot of crap just to make a little hearing aid, a compressor and low level expander and some high frequency eq. lol

Wouldn't there always be very high latency using Bluetooth for microphone? I mean regardless of implementation, that technology isn't meant for low-latency audio applications, is it?

Yes, they have a newer low latency type around 25 ms in version 5. Keep in mind this was just a hearing aid and latency is a good thing, that way I know someone is saying something to me and when it gets my attention I start to listen. Pretty crazy but I like it that way, not as much as playing in a band where real time is great but I'm getting almost 70 now and unfortunately the 1 to 5k is on it's way out. What really sucks is when I boost the highs it sets of ringing in my ears.

I suppose so, but if you try reaktor with blue tooth and get garbled sound, try using asio4all. For some reason it knows how to sync up with blue tooth.
