I found a kick sample where the attack was brighter on the left channel than the right channel, and wanted to even things out. One or more of these features would have helped me:

-- ability to select left, right, or both channels while editing stereo samples. This way I could copy just the attack (or the entire sample) from the left channel to the right or vice versa (as well as allowing other creative possibilities).

-- ability to mix left and right channels down to a single mono channel during editing (saving the sample as mono).

    -- a stereo image width parameter in the output stage of sounds/groups (0% = mono, 50% = normal, 100% = wider)

-- an internal effect plugin for stereo image width, channel mixing, or basic mid/side processing

I had other options, but they would have disrupted my workflow.

Definitely agree with this. Having to open files in a 3rd party editor just to do some of these simple edits is counter intuitive.
