Would you recommend the S8 for live gigs and traveling?

Would you recommend the S8 for live gigs and to travel with? Right now I have 2 technic 1200s and the traktor z2. Or maybe I should just stick with the turntable setup? Thanks. I spin urban, spanish music, pop, dance, etc. Thanks.

 

Well, if you travel with 2 technics and an z2, the weight gain is not much if you replace the z2, compared to the total weight of your Setup. And the car/club walking ammount will stay at 3, as i doubt you travel on a train with this setup
So far, i don't have a problem carrying the s8 in its original case. A flightcase or some professional bag would be nice, but the s8 is not something you can not carry when you are used to travel with a pair of 1210s or a pair of shoes....

 

If you are using mac yes. S8 on windows is a bit dodgy...

 

You cannot put a S8 in a carry on baggage, this is a tragedy for me so I'm going to buy another S4.
