    Hello all !

I have a problem with the TPro2 tags.

First of all, let me explain you my overall problem :
I made a set under TPro2, with tags in the "comment2" fields. I wanted to do a Native Mix, but i've read this feature has disappeared from TPro. So i must come back to my TDJS version...
I've tried to import my TPro collection in TDJS, but it seems the file have changed, my collection in TDJS is empty.
So i tried to import the tracks, but under TDJS, the fields "comment2" are empty too (whereas under TPro everything is ok).

I've searched for the "Write File Tag" option in TPro, but didn't succeed to find it (in TDJS, this option was accessible with a right click on the track).

So, does anyone have a tip to :
    -read TPro tags under TDJS
    or
-write tags in TPro readable for TDJS

I've searched in the forum, but as you may have already guessed, my english is not so good, so i may have missed the solution...

    thanks !

there's no such option because traktor writes tags automatically, always.

unfortunately, there is no backwards compatibility of the collection - tags written in a newer version wont be read in the old version.

just a guess - if you would use the normal standard id3 tag field (comment or key lyrics probably, not sure, you have to look that up) and import the tracks in the old traktor version, you could see the tags if you readout the tags manuall. however, you would NOT be able to do this via a playlist or the collection. it would be a readout from the track tags alone.
