    Hi
I have just ordered a X1 and already have a Z1 and MacBook Pro 2015 (2xUSB), and I've only realised that both require a USB..so I wont have a spare for my hardrive, is it possible to add both USB through a hub? Not sure if that will work..? Any other work around you can think of? I travel every 4 months with my job and want to keep it mobile as possible so don't want a bigger set up...any help and advice much appreciated!

    Hi,
that depends on your setup :) - I run Traktor 3 on my MacBook Air (USB-C) and I use a hub to connect my X1, F1, Power to my first USB-C port and the Z1 connects directly to the second free USB-C port via USB-B to USB-C cable.

I have to connect the Z1 directly, otherwise the Z1 won't be recognized as sound card.

I would assume that's the same with all the other USB ports, too.

    Hope that helps.

I'm still waiting on my X1 to turn up, but by the sounds of what you're saying I should be able to do the same, Z1 in one free USB port, and other usb port a hub with X1 and hardrive. I'll let you know once it's delivered.
    Cheers!

I am doing the same thing -- macbook pro with a UB hub and X1/Z1
the issue i am having is that i cannot seem to get the z1 to control Decks A/B
Is it possible to use BOTH the X1 and the Z1 on Decks A/B Only?
