X1/F1 ... Bag v/s Stand !!

Hi !!

I have an X1(m1) with the black bag. I recently purchased an F1 & was wondering whether I should purchase the F1 bag or the stand (aluminium).

The main advantage with the bag is that :
a) you can store the usb cable within it &
b) the entire f1/x1 can be enclosed within the bag

whereas with the STAND there is no cable storage ... + ... the sides of the x1/f1 will be exposed as it is only covered from the top & bottom.

Would appreciate some advice. Rgds.

 

I've got 4 stands, after originally having 1 bag!

You get what I'd describe as a massive soft sunglasses bag to go around the stand/F1/X1 when it's put together so it'll stop it all from getting scratched up. I like the stands much better than the bag, they're extremely solid and stable, and raise to exactly the right level every time.
