when importing your tsi file from 2.6.4 do not import the "other preferences n settings" as I think that is where the problems is.
If you are not importing anything, you should not have any problems.

Oh sorry man - didnt realise - shouldve read deeper in. :S

I hope NI come up with the right fix for all these people! It's very bad that they didnt have all this ironed out before. It could be Apples fault too though, for not supplying long enough beta testing!

    X1 issue with Mavericks

My macbook pro is mid 2010 (Core i7 with 8Gb RAM) and I recently upgraded to Mavericks and none of my 2 X1's are detecting. I have tried the setup wizard twice, updated my Controller Editor (1.6.0) and even updated to X1's latest drivers (2.6.0), Audio 8 driver (2.6.0) and Traktor Scratch Pro 2 to (2.6.5). Somehow my X1's are still not detecting and i have tried removing the .Tsi file and restart Traktor several times.

When i go to Kontrol X1 settings in Traktor and try to recalibrate, its showing there are NO MAPPED CONTROLLERS, but when i am in Controller editor, all the lights come up but there are just jammed without any function. PLEASE HELP

Ok, after a couple of weeks without problems, today I've launched Traktor and boom, the X1 is dead again.
I don't know what else I can do, I tried everything and it worked for a while, now without any reason it stopped to work.
If I launch the Setup Wizard it seems to work, but if I import the old .tsi file and restart Traktor, the X1 is not detected again. It seems to work only if I import the old .tsi file without the "other preferences and settings" and this is really frustrating, because I have to set everything back every time.
How is it possible that after a month NI doesn't release a new version of the X1 driver or a fix for this? I'm not the only one with this problem, also there was a long period of beta test before the official release of Mavericks, so honestly I can't understand how this things can happen...

I have the same problem, my X1 mkI is not detected as controller on Mavericks with the latest drivers. The only workaround I have found is it use it as a MIDI controller.

I even tired installing the driver on my PC since it don't work on my Mac and still getting error driver not found.
Can u just provide driver file only that we can just put in specific folder where the application or hardware is looking for it instead of installing the .exe file or dmg file.

wow I can't believe this just happened, and I got a gig this weekend. What the hell happened with this update that it disabled my x1? and how the hell can I fix it.....

When I attempt to recalibrate it says "There are no mapped controllers calibration aborted"

I guess it doesn't matter really, there will be a fix and my f1, midi fight, and exponent all seem to work fine.

    Solution

This is what I got from NI- Support below. See if this works as I plan on doing this later today:

FIRST: Close Traktor and go to DOCUMENTS-->NATIVE INSTRUMENTS-->TRAKTOR 2 (your
current version) and delete TRAKTOR SETTINGS.TSI. Now you are ready to continue.

    1) Please completely uninstall the Controller Editor software. You can download
the MAC OSX UNINSTALL UTILITY to make this easier, from here:

    http://co.native-instruments.com/?id=freeupdates

Then run the utility and select the CONTROLLER EDITOR software to remove.

    2) On your OS X system drive, go in the Applications>Utilities folder and
    double-click the Disk Utility.

Select your system boot volume on the left (the named drive), and then click the
First Aid tab on the right and click the button on that page that says Repair Disk
    Permissions.

This will take a few minutes to complete. This is a general maintenance routine
for the OS which is recommended to ensure the proper functioning of the system.

    3) Download and reinstall the CONTROLLER EDITOR 1.6.0 from here:

    http://co.native-instruments.com/?id=freeupdates

    4) Launch Traktor and see if the controller and software respond correctly to one
    another.

I could not bear to wait for an update from NI, so I downgraded back to Mountain Lion to drop this issue.

If there are more people who want to downgrade then do the following steps:
Hold down alt + command + R when you turn on your computer, then select Internet recovery.

It is important that you first delete the HD before hitting the internet recovery. Otherwise the machine will not go back to Mountain Lion...

And last but not least. Remember backup

    Problem solved :)

Traktor and X1 is now working as normal :D

I'm in contact with NI support for this reason, too and we might have a solution. It worked for me but I can't say if this fix is permanent.

Go to Preferences -> File Management and disable all check boxes. All six should be disabled.

Now restart Traktor and connect your X1. It should work now. Please let me know if this works for you.
Maybe it is enough to disable "Import music folders at startup", please also try that if my first suggestion works.
