X1's not working properly with TSP2.0.2

Hi,

Ever since i upgraded to traktor scratch pro 2.0.2 i have had major problems with the x1's.

the 1st problem is that in the traktor window on screen, there is an orange light for the midi symbol, not blue, indicating that not all devices are connected properly.
However both X1's ARE connected properly.

Also, the second X1 does not control the sample decks C & D. I downloaded the X1 addon mapping from NI, it worked on 2.0.1 but now it doesn't work.

Also, sometimes my first X1 controls both decks at once - e.g A & C or B & D - e.g if i press FX1 on it puts fx1 on for both decks at the same time?

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on how to fix this?

If all else fails you could try a complete re-install. I also had problems after upgrading, so I uninstalled everything, then searched my computer and deleted all Traktor and Native Instruments files and folders. I think maybe there were duplicate folders or something causing a problem after the upgrade
Then install 2.0 again, log in and get update 2.0.2 and there is also an update for the controller editor.
That worked for me

 

Thanks, yes I had to do a complete reinstall. Very impractical.
I took everything 'traktor' off my MacBook pro, reinstalled tractor scratch pro 2.0.0, but not the x1 drivers that were on the disc.
After install I then went to the NI site and downloaded the latest drivers for the x1, installed them and things were then fine.

Hopefully NI will sort this problem out so others don't have to go through the same problems.

 

i use two X1s on 2.0.1 as well and that topic just restrained me from installing the update.. thanks for the heads up!

 

Or a quicker fix would have been to reinstall the latest X1 drivers AFTER doing the update.

 

I tried that and it didn't work.

 

I have problems with X1 on 2.0.2 too, on browsing skips over 2 tracks, from time to time on middle of playing traktor cant recognize it . . . tried with latest driver for X1, reinstalling etc but without luck . . . Im deleting everything tonight (1.2.7, 2.0.1, 2.0.2) , all NI folders, everything! than I'll install 2.0.1 with latest drivers for ADJ8 & X1 . . .
I'll skip 2.0.2 and wait for full update . . .

 

Hey Tom did you fix your x1 problem?

i was unable to control the sample decks on my x1's until i pushed the "restore" button under Pref>Traktor Kontrol X1>Restore

now the work..

cant wait to here the dj sneak remix when its done too..
