XDJ-1000mk2 Support ... Please!

but the xdj 700 was part of the hid update? why does it not show the wave form and is that a fact?

Because the HID protocol on the older Pioneer players doesn't support it. The XDJ-1000 MK1 doesn't show it either.

The XDJ-700 is just an XDJ-1000 MK1 with less features, so it works almost the same in HID mode. This Traktor update doesn't unlock any new features on the XDJ-700.

You can browse the playlists, not sure if you can type on screen though... I'll try and do an in-depth review of it today and post the video.

 

That's great. To clarify what I meant was can you 'sort' not search by key on the xdj-1000 mik 2 - I look forward to seeing the video cheers.

announcing the big HID update and mentioning the two players in the same breath had me thinking they both would display the same, did i miss something?? feel duped to be honest.

 

Thanks for doing that i really appriciated it thank you, ill be returning the xdj700's and i definatley wont be investing in a pair of these for use with traktor. After owning the denon sc5000 the 1000mk2 looks absolutley prehistoric and so very basic in its function, it looks two decades old up against the denons and its still selling for £1100 oh my days. Thank you again.

 

No problem man. and yeah, I picked up the XDJ's about 3 months before the Denon 5000's went on sale, otherwise I'd likely be rocking them now. or have them sitting in a case and using my D2's still.

 

ive sold the sc5000 and sc5000m and i too am back AGAIN to my s4mk3, and a DDJSZ has just been deliverd to try out.

 

why not go for a ddj1000 over this?

 

mainly because i got it cheap and ive had a ddj1000 already. theres an official map for the sz from pioneer also

 

Hi guys! I need some big help here please!
I cannot connect my XDJ-1000mk2 to Traktor in HID mode. I got 2 XDJ-1000mk2 with the latest Firmware and Software updated, also got Traktor Pro 3.3 updated. Connected them by USB, followed the tutorials on YouTube (same as shown in this forum) but still it's not working.
Can anyone help me?

if using a mac you might need to give certain security permissions?

 

beware. The pionner mapping takes 18 seconds open the prefs window. On my latest mapping i have this lowered to 3 seconds

Hi Guys. I have problem with Traktor Pro 3.3.0 on my Macbook pro on MacOS Sierra ver: 10.12.6 during the playing with two XDJ1000MK2 in HID cont.. So when I use XDJ's1000MK2 sound cards,Traktor start freezing untill turn off one player, no ma
tter which A or B XDJ1000MK2. But when using internal soundcard on mac everything work. Just when I try to use external soundcard in Audio setup of Traktor XDJ/CDJ aggregating and try to press some buttons on XDJ1000MK2 no matter which skip, cue, search play stop it's start to frezze! Even when I don't using pionner aggregator V104 last, when I setup in Traktor Audio setup Pioneer XDJ1000MK2 sound option same problem.Only when I use HIDcont in internal soundcard in comp everithing work whell. So I was try on Traktor PRO2 older ver. which I use untill 3.3.0. what I have on same computer with importing TSI mapping file for XDJ1000 and using soundcards of XDJ's1000 MK2 and everithing was working perfect all night long. So Im total confused. Last frimware on XDJ'.is V1.42, I was reset Midi settings on my Mac, I was reinstall Traktor 3.3.0. reinstall aggregator and Pionner USB transport driver. Same problem! Anybody know something about this problem? Thnx.
