XDJ-1000mk2 Support ... Please!

To be clear- NI never said that HID support for the XDJ 1000 MK2 is coming *for sure*. They merely said that is on "top of their list" and they want to see "how many people are interested". So.. I wouldn't get your hopes up, especially with their track records. I hope they can prove me wrong

WOW - this is the probably most voted feature in the current beta test. Thanks to all who contributed - sounds like there are no excuses for us to push this back.
I'd like to quickly explain one more time, that we have pulled the CDJ-TOUR1 integration forward, because it is architecturally very close to the CDJ-2000NXS2 and therefore was a low hanging fruit.
The XDJ-2000MK2 represents a new technology (which is also quite different from the MK1) and therefore requires some groundwork on our HID integration framework. This adds time and risk to this implementation. We did not want to hold back the easier to achieve integrations unnecessarily.

I don't want to give you an exact time frame at this point (because we haven't exactly planned the timeframe for the next update), but for sure the XDJ-1000MK2 made it to the top of our integration backlog and you can be quite confident that you will get the integration later this year.

For me the 'later this year' it's good enough and very much looking forward to see Traktor's future will look like!

Edit: On a side note, do you mind explaining what you mean when you say the "XDJ 1000 Mk2 is a new technology" ? I thought was a stripped down 2000 nexus player, no?

I've been waiting for this since I bought my XDJ and sold my S4

 

This is how NI communication should be. It doesn't have to be long - just be clear.
We will surely respect your timeline decisions AS LONG as we have any idea of what is going on!

 

Until we have it, Rekordbuddy is great for syncing Traktor with Rekordbox.
