XDJ-1000mk2 Support ... Please!

You're joking right? It's been 2 YEARS since we've been waiting for support for this. Forced me to move to Rekordbox. Too little too late.

 

I also want support. XDJ 1000 MK1 has it, XDJ 1000 MK2 is the latest version, for sure it deserves to be supported by Traktor.

 

Please NI, make it real!!!

 

I'm afraid we are still 2-3 months away..

for those who are complaining about it taking too long, think about this. Would you prefer something that kinda works, but could freeze up, stop communicating, maybe it would just pull a system crash, OR be a solid, and reliable mating of hardware and software? I myself am more than ok with waiting for it to be solid before it's released. it sucks when you get a crash, and it could ruin a night for most DJ's (assuming this is mainly a spot for club DJ's) however as a wedding DJ, a system failure, or audio dropout could mean more than just not getting as much business, it could ruin one of the most important days for someone.

That being said, god I wish we didn't have to wait, and I wish i could move away from rekordbox already lol

 

please support the XDJ-1000 mk2, otherwise I'm forced to go to rekordbox

 

Rekordbox box is pretty good. I’ve been using it since July and it’s solid dj software.

 

It is actually. And Pioneer is constantly releasing updates with new features, bug fixes, etc. The only thing I can't stand is the stacked waveforms. I MUCH prefer Traktor decks layout..

Traktor pro 3 better really good.. Lots of people are growing impatient and will not hesitate to jump ship if NI doesn't deliver.

Well I f Traktor Pro 3 doesn't add support for XDJ 1000 MK2 NI doesn't get my money.. Is that simple!

Others in this thread should follow suit to prove the point

That said I'm confident NI will deliver this time!

I´m so nervous... Played the CDJ 2000 nxs2 at my first Club-Gig. Worked fking amazing with it.
You can set the bpm in 0.00 steps so for example: 127.01, 127.02 127.03. So you don´t need to instantly correct by jog.

 

I have sold my XDJ 1000MK2 a year ago , i waited so long that i got pissed and was forced to sell it. PLEASE NATIVE INSTRUMENTS SUPPORT HID FOR XDJ 1000MK2. Everyone is and been asking for that forever. PLEASE!!!

 

It has been very long time since people are asking for this feature.

I bought my XDJs three days ago and I was pretty sure that there was Traktor's support, but then I read something in this forum and i discovered that there's no NI support for that kind of model.

So please NI, make this happen as soon as possible. !

 

No offense my friend, but you should always inform yourself before buying. For every product that I buy, there is a huge information process necessary. I use to read plenty of reviews, test the product in a local store and call my trusted music hardware dealer (www.thomann.de) for answering my questions. I guess your thoughts were like: hey, the XDJ 1000MK1 did work with Traktor, so the XDJ 1000MK2 will do as well. I have to confess that this were actually my thoughts as well, but I have read in several forums that it won t. With that being said, I also have to confess that it would not take that long that they will make this work. As you can see, that will not save you from our situation, but it makes things more predictable

No offense my friend, hopefully, next time you will double check if the equipment does fit into your requirements. And hopefully, NI will make this discussion unnecessary in a few weeks / months.

 

You are absolutely right man, you can’t understand how bad I felt when I discovered that. I always pay a lot of attention when I have to buy something for my studio, but I never had dj stuff. To be honest, I did as you said, I watched a video with pioneer’s hardware compatibility with Traktor, with the XDJ 1000 as one of them, and then I bought em. I’ve been so stupid, but nevermind, next time triple check ahaha
Oh and let’s hope for a quick NI compatibility !!!!

 

please NI, add support HID mode for XDJ-1000MK2, I work a lot better with traktor than rekordbox
