Lots of speculation around this thing on the net.

Going off the cables my guess is it is a 4 channel Midi capable hardware mixer similar to the Rane 68.

it's on the Decks.co.uk shop for few weeks now. Only as a placeholder under "DJ Controllers" with no info, but still the rumor starts back there.

Skratchworx has an article for it at (not much info): http://www.skratchworx.com/news3/comments.php?id=1533

Funny... when Skratchworx announced the 4MidiLoop release few weeks back, a thought passed through my mind - "wow, maybe I wouldn't be getting an S4 after all". It only took me less than half of the article to realize that so far, there's nothing better than the S4 on the market.

As per what I think: The Xone:92 is the best mixer out there IMO in terms of many things (it is subjective, so please don't jump on me for that statement). What A&H say about it is:
If the Xone:DB stays behind the same statement and it's slogan "dogs bollocks", I think we might witness the release of a great product. Would it be for me - BPM is not far away, won't take long to see. I'm patiently waiting for the S4 release either way, so I can only welcome a challenge for my decision.

    Cheers!

With a power cable like the one in the picture it has to be audio hardware.

I still think its a fully midi mixer. Like the DX combined with the 92 but without Jog wheels.

I saw an interesting rumour about an all-in-one controller designed to work with The Bridge.

I don't think it's going to be designed for the Bridge. They just released a Serato controller, they're not going to release a competing product separately (wouldn't they have announced this when they released DX?) Maybe this is just wishful thinking but I hope Karlos is right, a 4 channel MIDI+audio mixer with full control over traktor would be sweet.

    really?

that clusterf of buttons and knobs?

why are the eq knobs for the mids offset?

looks like a better ddm 4000 to me

Well i think we were all wrong werent we..!

I dont think anyone stopped to think that it just might be a mixer and thats its (of course its a bit more).
Its certainly not the amazing machine a lot of people assumed/dreamed.

I know it will be a good mixer, its A&H they dont make bad mixers but its possible the ugliest mixer ive ever seen.

    Underwhelmed.

I suppose it all hangs on Pioneer now to show something to take the shine of the KS4 at BPM... and its gonna have to be really special.

I don't believe Pioneer will show something really special apart their new DJ Monitors & Headphone this year. This would be a pure miracle if they would release a controller... no no no ... they belive too much in their rekordbox (iTune alike) thingy.

Normally just the sound quality and the filters are the things that make A&H mixers better than anything out there but this has to be the worst mixer design ever made. Still better than the djm800 though.

Oh I don't know at least the 800 looks like a mixer - what's going on with the A&H;)

Underwhelmed as well, it's a powerful mixer, but with all those features which are aimed at DVS they seem redundant.

New and improved Xone 92, i'll call it the 2092

4 Band EQ (it's what stood the 92 apart from other mixers IMO)
    5 Channels (TSP and Maschine)
Dual Xone Filters able to be Synced with Softwares LFO (Traktor internal BPM etc)

Kill the FX, kill the dumb looping idea on the mixer, would probably keep the price down as well.

Hell do these companies even speak to DJs before they make these products?
Teh only one that almost got it right was the Ecler EVO 5.
Don't really like the S4 either while i'm ranting

    Ultimate Traktor mixer?
Not when it duplicates many Traktor functions by having onboard FX, catapulting the $$$ into the stratosphere.

unless they release a controller for Rekordbox?

I doubt they will delve into the controller market, they already have that covered with the CDJ range (350/400/900/2000 are all MIDI capable and have "HID" platters)
