CIDK..nobody is discussing the 1.7 beta here, just that we are using the Public Beta.
Nobody is talking about the functionality or anything. Is this Fight Club?

 

I do not think we are talking about ITCH, but rather the upcoming firmware update that probably will be something everyone who wants to use the DX with both ITCH and Traktor will upgrade too. For the most part it changed the master LEDs.

What is curious is when you use the MIX ARCHITECT mapper pretty much everything works except for the MASTER LEDs. Which that is the part I would expect to not work and require a change.

However when you load any of the A&H mappers, nothing works. In fact deck A says "Audio Through" and it will not let me load anything. None of the mixer or transport controls seem to work either.

So I think we are trying to be PROACTIVE by identifying that when DX users upgrade to the latest DX firmware, Traktor is going to "break" for some of us. I am sure A&H and Serato are going to recommend updating the firmware for any issue you have with the unit or ITCH. So eventually it will be painful to go back and forth between firmwares to use ITCH or Traktor.

I have taken the TSI files and put them along side all the other included TSI files form Traktor. I am far from fluent in Traktor mapping rules. So seeking assistance here in this forum. I have opened a ticket with A&H and posted in their Traktor Map for DX thread in the A&H forums and no response after 2 days. I have followed the procedure to the letter form A&H in importing their TSI mapping files and configuration the sound card.

The conclusion here is the new firmware is going to break some of the current mappers... and those who are just using DX and Traktor and not paying attention to the ITCH releases (because they are 100% Traktor users) are going to get a shock when they see a firmware update from A&H.
