    cue volume mapping?

I am trying to create my own tsi or edit ones i have checked out. Is there a way to set assign the cue volume know? I have tried the learn button for monitor volume but it doesnt work. Does anyone know how to do this?

If i remember well, the cue volume button is hardware related, as it is directly controlling the headphone jack, so no midi message.

scratch AND bend without using the hand toggle

Has anyone been able to midi map the jog wheels to be scratch pad while deck is playing, AND pitch bend if just bumping from the sides of the jog wheels... but still be able to track seek while paused? Without using the toggle hand button to turn scratch on and off.

My mapping allows this, download it on traktorbible.com/freaks
When the deck is paused, the jog will not send the seek forward or backward commands but it will still scratch, so you will still be able to seek the track but not as fast as with seek commands.

edit : btw, the hand toggle (hold in fact) will allow list browsing with the jogs :)

    didnt work

Thanks, but your tsi didnt work as you say... first off the file is labelled vci-100, however I'm assuming this was a typo because it still loaded, and after initializing all the midi functions I managed to get your tsi to work... however it did not scratch and pitch bend as you say... not only that, but ever since loading your tsi it appears my A#0 (the touch sensitivity on the top of the jog wheels) doesnt register, and now non of my tsi files with scratch work. I have tried midi learning the key again, but whenever I touch the top of the wheel it does not register the note, but when I spin the wheel it registers CC22 for the rotation.
Yes, I have tried rebooting, reloading tsi's, relaunching the program, shutting down my xponent, etc... for some reason the note still will not register.

On the plus side, I'm hoping your tsi actually does do what you say and it's just my xponent which is acting up.... on the downside it worked perfectly fine until loading your tsi.

    Soooo....
What the hell? Any suggestions, or is my xponent toast?

    ?
You should find a backup of your TSI in native.../Traktor/Backup
Otherwise, did you download the TSI from http://traktorbible.com/freaks/mappingview.aspx?id=41 ?
It was created under TP 1.12 but loads well under TP 1.2.5
It should be labelled Xponent 1.12 Bank A.tsi or something.
Where did you read VCI-100 (yes i also have one besides my xponent) exactly?
Sorry it messed up your config.. I'll help you as best as i can to help you solve this ;)
    +++
Eventually try the 4 decks TSI and check your bank switch.

I'm loving this tsi file, however I was wondering, I'm not good or even know how to map the xponent, but is there a way to get rid of cue buttons 1 and 2 for delete/add beatgrid and just have 1-5 be all cue points? And is there a way to go all the way back to the beginning of a track without using the jog wheel?

Also, for some reason the "master" knob on my xponent doesnt turn the one on traktor pro, is this something I have incorrect?

    Thanks!

Yea i reloaded my backup, still doesnt work. Upgraded to new Traktor 1.2.4, still doesnt work. Reinstalled drivers, still doesnt work. Tried it under Torq, also not responding to the touch sensitivity. Has anyone else had problems with the touch sensitivity dying on the jog wheels? I've tried looking around, and the most tech support I hear is that you must have moist hands otherwise they become buggy. I friggin spooged all over my hands just to try to make it as frickin wet as possible and STILL nothing.
I emailed tech support to M-Audio... any comment on how good their email support is?

Well I figured out the cue points, so that's cool, got a modifier to delete them so 2-5 set cues, turn on modifier and 2-5 deletes, but i was wondering if anyone can help me out as far as effects go. I want to have FX 1 bank be advanced, and FX 2 bank be chained, but can't with bjoern's tsi.

    Any help would be great!

    Great tsi though bjoern

This should all be in the same thread, but please refer directly to the TSI that you have troubles with. that way we might be able to help you.
As for me, the most recent Holyct TSI is almost perfect. What can we do about the scratch hold problem? I'm not a scratch DJ, but sometimes, that messes with me when I'm trying to cue.

Do you midi experts think we could use Bomes Midi Translator to fix this? Why does the scratch hold let go after no movement for a little bit?

oh wow, THANKS! I have mapped my 2-5 hot cues already but couldnt figure out the whole chained thing. I'm going to load up your new one and copy the set up somehow and try to edit the one that I had already edited. Thanks for the tsi, GREAT features in it :D

I like Holyc TSI file, but I would like to have one change. When you set up the loop and then when you press hot cue button your loop will gone. Can you sort it please?

    Man thanks for sharing!

I'm using your ma (in fact with a little tweak - preview player control)...

The only thing I can't do is turn the level meters and all the other leds (deck specific) stop pulsing by the beat...

I need the meters working in a "normal" way.. how can I do it?

    Thanks in advance!

I've made it work! (Thanks anyway Bjoern!)

Here is my version based on bjoern Chained Filters Map...

    My Tweaks:

Preview Player (I had to supress the Beat Jump and Effect Select functions in this deck)

" - " Load and Plays the selected track (from browse) to/in preview player
    " > " and " < " Fine FWD and REV preview player
    " X " Stops preview playback

VU Meters (instead of Beat Phase Monitor)

Now the VU Meters are used to Monitor Deck PFLs A and B (on Left and Right, respectively)

The Beat Phase Monitor I mapped to the Sync arrows

    Any suggestions?

Thank you all for share your work!

Yea I noticed that my VU Meters werent working right, but wasnt sure why... how did you map it if you dont mind me asking? I like the beatphase monitor on all the buttons and I have already edited the tsi with cue points setting among other things and would rather not have to redo it all.

    Thanks for any help!;)

Hi, djcapi... I just add the following:

Monitor Deck PFL Left Out to Deck A, mapped to ch04.CC.018
Monitor Deck PFL Right Out to Deck A, mapped to ch04.CC.018
Monitor Deck PFL Left Out to Deck B, mapped to ch04.CC.019
Monitor Deck PFL Right Out to Deck B, mapped to ch04.CC.019

    and re-assign

Beat Phase Monitor Out to Deck A to Ch01.Note.D-1 and
Beat Phase Monitor Out to Deck B to Ch02.Note.D-1 (in fact, to whetever you want to blink ;-))

To found the level meters I did by try and error... Does anybody have Xponent full Map to It's Leds?

    That's it..

PS: Since I don't have the Xponent full LED assigns I don't know if It has support to blink all the buttons at the same time with the levels meters acting as "Level Meter"
