Xponent Tsi

Hi can anybody repost the tsi file from Tony Cagnoni.
The attached link is dead.

i keep can't import the xponent tsi to the traktor

I bought a new Asus to work with Xponent and Traktor so i would like why i cant download the TSI file from anyone? I already installed Win rar but always the files are corrupt.
Any idea?

Been a while !

Has anyone started a mapping for the Traktor S4 software Yet ?

 

Anybody into traktor pro 2 & xponent?

 

wow that's really spooky, I clicked on download traktor pro 2 demo and it still not finished, then you post this question!

 

are you having a go at doing a mapping for tp2 then kad?
I'd love to try it out...

 

I'm using it with the older mapper cause it's compatible. Maybe i add the sampler section

traktor 2 pro - can anyone tell me if they using fonfonboy's tsi file from traktor freaks and if the having problems ? or if someone has improved it. Newbie having problems .


traktor 2 pro , m-audio xponent , dell xps (i7 processor 2ghz - 6 gig ram ) laptop windows 7 64 bit.

 

traktor 2 xponent wizard and tsi file

traktor 2 pro does not have a wizard set up for xponent, so i used s4 setup 2 decks and 2deck sampler and installed fonfon tsi (from traktor freaks site - found under s4 tsi files) , which is a great tsi file for xponent, (left jog wheel for tree browser and right jog wheel for file browsing ect. ) however fonfon is no longer a xponent user anymore . was wondering if anybody could explain what his right shift button is used for. also would like to know how to trigger tracks in sample deck while other decks are playing - or does one need a trigger pad or maschine or something like that to trigger those tracks ? new at this , so please help !

Hi Vinny. You may have to get in contact with fanboy at traktor freaks as he is prepared to work with someone to get the mapping right. Failing that it's working with someone to map it out yourself. I'm thinking of getting the xponent for 4 deck mixing and then having the m audio trigger finger to fire off decks c and d for the sample decks.

hi dysfunk dj .. thanks for the response I thought I was alone here :S .As I said I'm a newbie , so its a work in progress . However was tinkering again today , the more Im using fonfonboy's mapping the happier i be getting . (like how he made the jog wheels work as pitch bends , and made scratch function seperate for each jog wheel )
It just seems a bit unstable at first because the led 's were a bit all over the place and some of them on and some off. Also lost headphones pfl switches but a succesfull reboot and reloading of mapper evrything seemed ok.

Just printed the manual hopefully more understanding will come with any problems I encounter.

I got my xponent at an online classified section by someone who did not know what they were doing (I blame torq) nor what they were selling. Imho xponent most under - rated controller not supported by traktor. (Gotta love the size of those jog wheels)

Great to hear it's working out well for you. Could you share with me what control you have over the software. 4 deck control? Looping? LEDs? Hotstarts? I'll have an xponent in about 5 weeks. Gonna get a trigger finger for the samples. Between you and I and fanboy we will get the xponent rocking

 

Hello i'm FonFonBoy and i will help you if you want to have a great xperience with your xponent.

i would like to say again for all few points :

Xponent alone is not very good to control 4 Channel because you don't have 4 channel mixer and switch between deck A/B and C/D IS NOT CONFORTABLE AT ALL.
i want add it's impossible lol.

imagine you have to cut bass on deck D and put bass on A, you wiil have to do this :
- cut bass on D
- Then switch the button in the latteral of the xponent
- finally put the bass on A
That's just sucks

A good point of the xponent is the vew meter of sound, when gain is too much high the leds of the vumeter on xponent will not appear(if you are always in the red of traktor) seems to be a bug but very usefull.

I Think the ultimate combo with traktor 2 must be a Xponent + a kontrol X1 in order to have 4 chan mixer

The control of the sampler is a little bit complex, depending where you want to have control of your sample(on the xponent deck C/D or on a external controller) . In traktor you can switch between deck C/D and sample C/D on the fly but you have to bind this function. Personnally i have a kontrol s4 and i had to bind something on my keyboard in order to switch on the fly bewteen deck c/d and sample C/D

I never bind anything about the part of sample control. That will be the work of an another person. All i want is give the same tsi for Traktor 2 than i have done on traktor v1.2.x

Their is only few bugs on the release TP2@90% on traktorbible
i think the better things to do is list here all the bug you will met with my version
And maybe someone will correct the bugs in 5 min(because that person have already bind an other controller) or 1 hour if your are noob and you had never done that's before.

using 2 decks with 2 deck sampler , i'm still in experimental phase and have not taken traktor 2 pro and xponent out to a gig . had a couple of successfull days with no problems more than three hours of consatnt playing , but today while playing after about an hour contolls froze but track kept playing had to contine manually with mouse pad,but eventually had to restart traktor. the other thing that happens quite a lot is the headphone (monitor channel 3/4) goes ''out'' into a distortion type sound , I fix this by reloading the same channell in output while track is playing , theres a slight dropout but then problem is fixed. fonfonboys map ok but as he said still needs more development. would like my gain knob to be used for the filetr though as gain is automatic. I would like the sample decks to be somehow tigerred by a alternate shift trigger over iether the loop buttons or hit cue buttons .do you think thats possible?

 

Greetings Dj Vinny! Marco here. I'm a newbie, trying to switch from Torq 1.5 to Traktor Pro 2. I have no idea where to begin since this is the first time I ever had to "map" something. I found fonfonboy's tsi mapping for traktor but will this work for TP2? How do I get started? I am also interested in having the gain as the filter function. Please help! Thank you!
