    Hi all,

I can't figure out for the life of me why my HS5's are crackling and making all kinds of weird static noises. I use the Komplete Audio 2 interface and have checked the connections, the wires, and even swapped the speakers. It still tends to do it. I thought maybe it was because I was editing too loud and busted the speaker. But I find it hard to believe since I don't actually crank the volume on these often. And when I do it's for a very brief moment, not an extended amount of time or at full maximum volume. Any thoughts? Is it the speakers? The interface? Something else? Thanks in advance

Don't you have another source to test the speakers?

I actually swapped out the interface for another one, (komplete audio 2), and it seems to be that. I'm guessing the interface is the culprit... now if only NI could replace this bum one I'd be happy!

Normally you have to exchange it where you bought it, or at least contact seller first. And of course it depends on how old it is
