I'm new to MIDI and I've searched the forum for help but at this point frustration is setting in.

    I have a Yamaha P-70 and set the transmit/receive channels to 1.

I've configured Akoustik Piano like this:

    Output Device: Soundsticks
    Routing: Left Soundsticks Out 1
    Right Soundsticks Out 2

    Input/Output Interface
MIDI: M-Audio Un MIDI Interface USB

    I have 2 problems-

    1) Sound is coming out of my P-70 (local control off) and not the Soundsticks

    2) I hit one key and there is a delay of 5-10 seconds before the next
    key is heard

    What am I doing wrong?

Nevermind, I found out the M-Audio is not compatible with my Yamaha keyboard.
