Yesterday i was lucky with my new iAxe393; today...

i am confused: All settings are okay; i am working with an iMac Intel Core Du 20"; Midi-Settings okay, Guitar Combo III Settings okay; USB-light is funny blue at the Guitar, Sennheiser HD 465 clipped; But I hear no Sound. GC III: The Metronom sleeps (or is doing whatever else): Whats wrong? I got GC III from NI with a free Code, downloaded it from the given Link, entered the Serialnumber: But nothing works. So what’s wrong now? And how could i play the Guitar in Garage Band? Someone some tricks? :|

 

Uups... I solved the problem

Now everything works fine again. I changed the settings in GarageBand; took them back, changed my settings in GC preferences, and suddenly: Boouuuum! It works again and best.

Hi everybody.
How did you do that, Thomas? I got a Mac Book Pro Intel, but GC doesn't work. There's no Behringer device in the Asio menu to set (just "USB Codec" audio device, but there's no sound after setting). Maybe the problem is in the GC version (1.0.0.)? I think this one (bundled with my iAxe393, Behringer Editon Vol. II)) is just compatible with PowerPC Macs and ain't no use to fit it with Intel prox...

What setting have you used in Garage Band?

Combos are not currently compatible with Intel Macs. We are woking hard to bring you that update.

I am sorry - my message was not quite correct; after i quitted GB, unplugged my guitar, shut down guitar combo and then plugged the guitar again and restarted guitar combo, i found out, that this is the right way to start and playing the guitar. OC GC ist not intel-based. Sorry for my message. Regards Thomas

 

Thank you, Thomas. I can use my iAxe with Garage Band after I read your second post. One thing: your Mac is PowerPC based or not?

 

You can use the iAxe with GarageBand no mater if it's intel or PPC. Just use GarageBands amp simulators for now until the combos go UB.

No. Guitar Combo III with iAxe and Earphones...

 

It's running in rosetta. This means its running either very slowly or with high CPU resources.

 

Hi Marc, yes, that might be so. But GC is running well; the iMac has 2 GB RAM; i have no problems with running GC. It works fine.

Guitar Combos do NOT work with Intel right now.
