Hi there guys and girls (After spending 5 days reading through _all_ the posts here, I already feel like I know some of you hehe).

    So, here's my situation:

My old Acer-set (with BCD3000, WinXP and TraktorLE working perfectly) exploded recently, so I purchased new PC to suit my needs as a bedroom (primary) and club-DJ. I got a shiny new HP machine, with all the possible extras, so I expected using it to help ugly people get laid, here in the local club. Yeah, but ...

After installing BCD3000 1.2.0.0 drivers and Traktor LE, I figured out that nothing is working. So I reinstalled them a couple of times (around 10000...), trying with both the old drivers running in WinXP-mode under Vista, and with the new ones..

So the problem is that Vista or TraktorLE or I don't know what, is unable to recognise the BCD. It shows in the Devices in Windows, but it's not showing as an MIDI-controller in TraktorLE. About the soundcard, it shows two BCD3000s: BCD3000 ASIO (and when selecting is as an soundcard it's not working at all), and another one, called Speakers BCD-3000 or something, not working as well...

So now I'm ready to throw the new 1000 euro PC outta my window ... I have to work in the club here on Friday (Octoberfest-party), and I just feel the only possible solution here is to use one of the things working here - the CD-burner, and burn some extra music to my CD-collection and do it the old (and boring) way...

I read almost everything here, as well as I googled a lot, but nothing seems to help, tried ASIO4ALL and everything(?) possible, but ... :( :( ... although the BCD control panel is showing down there, so there must be something strange here..

    My configuration is as following:

    HP Pavillion tx2500
    (PC with a touch screen)

    AMD Turion Dual-core ZM-80 @ 2.10 GHz
    3 GB RAM
    Windows Vista home premium SP1

    as well as Traktor 3.3 LE + BCD3000 ...

Any ideas here? I read over the I-nett that there are others with the similar problem, but no solution yet .. So i decided to ask you guys up there, maybe somebody can help me, and there's still a couple of days until my gig in Friday :)

    Greetings,
    Ivo@Norway

Why the hell did you take Vista...? :(

Okay, here is the trick for the Midi problem:
The BCD3000 will only be recognized by T3LE as Midi device on the USB port where it was connected when you installed the driver. If this does not work it is a bit more tricky to get the system working.

    For sound:
Choose the BCD3000 ASIO driver and do the routing for the inputs and outputs again (Main -> Out 0+1, Monitor -> Out 2+3).

    Well...

Hi Mike, and thank you for the reply.

The MIDI-solution is working, but only when I select the built in soundcard. Selecting the BCD3000 ASIO reflects into no sound and no MIDI at all... :(

I tried re-routing the outputs (but, there's no 0 there, only 1 to 4 .. so I tried all the possible combinations..). I also marked that when I select BCD3000 ASIO as soundcard, the CPU indicator on the top of the Traktor freezes. Strange.

    Any suggestions on sound-problems?

P.S- I don't know why Vista :(, I tested everything at my girlfriend's PC, running Vista, and everything worked smooth - just plug-n-play ... And it's not so easy finding new PC with XP, when you are not looking at the business expencive ones..

    Greetz,
    Ivo

Referring to your screenshot this is the wrong way. Route Out 3 and 4 to monitor and 1 and 2 to Main. Close T3LE and reopen it, this should work then. But wait... please go into the performance management and set it to high performance... if it is set to "balanced" on some laptops sound will not work properly. Had the same bug and laughed my ass off when I discovered that. :D

Regarding Vista, there is an opportunity to downgrade... ask the dealer where you got your laptop from.

Well ... still not working here :( *crying*
I made everything as described, but still when I select BCD3000 ASIO the Soundcard light switches to red :( and no sound, no MIDI ...

The performance is on high, everything not needed is switched off, Aero-effects off, and I can't understand the problem at all ... Is it possible :S I'm really frustrated here, and I don't know what to do.

HP doesn't support downgrade to XP, they didn't release any drivers for XP for my computer, so it'll be imposible here...

I'm really disappointed here, why put Vista drivers online when they aren't going to work at all... Behringer s**t..

When switching to BCD3000 ASIO you have to do the output routing again. otherwise will not work.

Nope. The PLAY button lights on (in Traktor, BCD3000's not workinng as MIDI when I select the ASIO as soundcard), but no movement at all ...

So routing is still Out1+2 -> Main, Out 3+4 -> Monitor and it does not work? Hm... strange...

    Hey

Unsure if you have resolved the problem but when i used the driver that came with the BCD it did not find it.

Went to the behringer website and downloaded the beta and it works ok although the LED's no longer come on when in use and the sound wavours at times. (unsure if this is a latency issue or just a pooor soundcard, will try tonight using my external to see if theres a differance)

I also have 3 differant sound options and run asio4all
