I just received the email for the loyalty pack and I was flattered that NI thought of me as one of their best customers. I ordered the pack and look forward to using NI products decades into the future. I looked at my products list and it is indeed impressive. I think I own everything they make. Or darn close to it. thanks NI. I will wear your shirt proudly!

yeah, i ordered the free "loyalty" pack, despite my displeasure at the Kore scenario. If they want to send me stuff for free, cool. i'd rather get software upgrades for reduced/free instead, though. Hell, i'd rather see Kore preserved.

Anyone get the free t-shirt, etc. yet? It's been about 3 weeks since I put the order in.

Yep I received my t and book. T is good, book is a glossy sales/pr catalogue made to look like a book,
    Bit cynical maybe!

The inclusion of several Kore soundpacks in the publicity blurb is rather irritating ...

Ya.... Thanks but No Thanks. I skipped it. Seems like a waste of materials. I think they could've come up with something a little more sound oriented.

I received my loyalty pack with the wonderful t shirt and the gorgeous book of NI history and Kore is nowhere to be found - erased by the marching tide of progress.

They can stick their T-shirt on their back and stick their pamphlet in their back pocket.

I don't want ANY of their crap except Kore 64.

If you look at the history timeline page (it's the folded section called 'A visual History') both Kore and Kore 2 are there. I know it's not a huge write-up but considering it just got dropped I wouldn't expect anything more (would be a bit odd to have a major feature about it?)

I am proud to be a Koreist. I have Kore open as a plugin in Machine and everything is functional, including Komplete Ultimate. All the soundpacks and sounds for everything and all knobs and sliders and whatnot - but in my 32 bit computer running XP. If 64 bit does come out I definitely want to move it over to the big gun.

So you have morphed sounds in Kore, which is inside Maschine, and magically recorded the automation in your favorite DAW? Everything is far from functional. But I'm glad you are happy with it.

No I have not tried that. But let's talk about morphing for a moment. When I bought Kore, I was under the mistaken impression that I could load in 8 PRESETS and morph between the 8 SOUNDS themselves...not just 8 parameters within a single sound. So the morphing function became a needless waste of time for my purposes. Also, my meager 180 Opteron could not even handle morphing of a single sound without stuttering as it maxed out the processor - even if just a couple sounds were loaded. So Kore was a waste of money - until those Summer Packs came out and we all loaded up on them in anticipation of...you know, now I can't even remember why I got 16 of them.

I'm just trying to feel good about a bad 2006 purchase. I think we all are. And I will kid myself to do that if I must. I'm sorry if I sound too pleased, or satisfied with the final results. It did cost me another grand...did you get your t shirt?

You can morph between presets as long as all different parameters are host controllable :)
But you'll have to manually put all these parameters in the exact settings of the presets you want to use and save them as variations.
You can also fade between presets. I made an organ player nuts once by saving 8 different organ pipe combinations (from the same acoustic organ) as variations on the morph pad. If you click through the presets it's like a real organ, but if you start dragging across the morph pad all the colours start fading in and out.

LOL...no but I'm looking forward to NI's traditional annual Christmas gift of a free compilation sound pack. I'm thinking it should be happening any day now.

And yes, you can morph between patches of the same synthesizer, but as nielsdolieslager said you have to do some manual work.

I wish EW was still around because I think there was an easier way...but I can't remember and I'm not in my studio to try and figure it out.

I'm sure Kymeia would know the alternative if one really exists.

Compilations only came in 2008 and 2009, in 2010 it was Mikro Prism. Which was pretty cool too.
