Arcane Attic --> easily my favorite, it's the most creative sound-wise, and the best suited to my style / genre
Circuit Halo --> people seem to generally hate this one, but I love the gritty 80s digital drum machine vibe
Pulsewerk --> this comes with some excellent bass patches (one shots really, but very usable)
Electric Vice --> Really punchy samples here
Grey Forge --> Kind of subtle stuff, but really cool. I come back to it a lot.

I'm so sick of packs where half of the pads have pre-played phrases on them. I want drum samples and SFX hits FFS! Not some goofy loop of music somebody else wrote :( Neon Drive, among others, is 50% awesome, 50% a complete waste for this reason.

Maschine Expansions are a great investment. At the moment I'm loving:
    -Neon Drive
    -Magnate Hustle
    -Carribean Current
    -Arcane Attic
    -Golden Kingdom
    and more lol.....

No longer do I have to go out and spend money for certain drums geared toward certain genre's. I just go in my maschine expansion stack. Want dancehall/reggae-paradise rinse/carribean current, boom bap-true school, golden kingdom, prospect haze, trap-lazer dice/golden kingdom, pop-electric vice, grey forge, old school-neon drive, circuit halo. The premade loops can be used as inspiration. I will take a one shot spread across the keys (change scale using scale feature) then layer it with two sounds on maschine studio and run it through molekular/the mouth/the finger. Or use melodyne (Studio One) to extract the midi from the maschine wave file. Then I willl layer that melody using various sounds. Just how I use it.

Wow great info, loving the replies. Michael thanks for the info about Neon Drive, I was looking at it. I actually like some phrases... obviously hits and sounds are more widely usable, but I've found phrases can give me stuff I wouldn't have thought of. It's a balance I think. Nice to know what's in the pack, I thought it was going to be more sounds and drum hits.

Man I don't know! That's part of why I was asking I guess!

Of what I have, what I emotionally like the most are:

    Circuit Halo
    Halcyon Sky
    Lone Forest
    Magnate Hustle
    Resonant Blaze

However, what I've USED the most so far, and found very very useful have been
    Grey Forge
    Lucid Mission
    Caribbean Current
    Conant Gardens
    Halcyon Sky

But I'm planning on using Circuit Halo, Lone Forest and Magnate Hustle on a bunch of stuff coming up

I'd love to get the Prospect and Velvet expansions soon. Prospect sounds wonderful.

It's not easy to choose top expansion packs beacause personally I think that each expansion pack has some interesting features. But if I have to choose, this is my top 5:
Conant Gardens (a wide selection of sampled phrases to capture the deep, smoky sound of soulful modern hip hop)
    Grey Forge (really cool)
Lone Forest(It seem like a lot of people here);)
    Golden Kingdom
    Electric Vice

True that, but even more tempting are Kontakt libraries – and they are much more expansive! Back to topic, ja favorites are the ones with the least amount of "genre predisposition", i.e. halcyon sky, arcane attic, and lone forest.
